What differentiates LeverTRM from other similar products?
It's highly intuitive and flexible. As a stand-alone product, it isn't designed to accommodate a particular HRIS and instead seamlessly reflects the work process of recruiting and hiring managers. As opposed to integrated HRIS TRM products, you won't have to meld your process to accommodate the system - with Lever, you can flex the system to accommodate your process.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
How intuitive the UI is. Hiring managers adapt to the tool better than anything else I've worked with. The degree to which forms and details can be customized allows for so much on-screen help and minimization of room for error - when it comes to HR processes, I've learned time and again that removing opportunities for hiring managers to make mistakes is infinitely better than having perfect documentation and how-tos, and Lever supports that better than any other tool I've used.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The unified pipeline. While I completely understand the foundational concept of it and agree with it (in theory), in practice, it's the only confusing thing for hiring managers. It would be hugely beneficial to be able to hide steps from managers if they are not going to make use of them for their particular opening, as it is truly incredibly confusing to them to see steps that they have no intention of using for their process.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Take the Lever training and familiarize yourself with the help documentation. It's incredibly robust and well-designed, but some things are organized in ways you won't expect, especially if you're comparing Lever to another tool you've previously used. Learning how Lever is different and where to find things will save you so much time and leave you empowered to resolve things on your own instead of having to lean on the support team.
