What differentiates Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales Enterprise from other similar products?
We've all heard of it. We use it internally to manage our client accounts, but we also have our own ISV within Dynamics that we sell, so our Support team has to help customers with issues in both Dynamics 365 sales Enterprise CRM and ClickDimensions. Dynamics enables us to manage our account database efficiently, and because it is customizable, we have been able to do so much more for our clients. Customizable - With the assistance of a CRM Administrator or Partner, you can tailor Dynamics to your specific business requirements. Can import own or third-party solutions to supplement features that Dynamics may lack.ClickDimensions is an example
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
If you work in marketing or sales, Dynamics 365 Sales Enterprise CRM can help you manage your leads effectively. Larger businesses will benefit more from this option. Other software, such as Mailchimp, would likely benefit small businesses that only want to send emails. Salesforce is their competitor, but they are not that similar. Support could be improved. They frequently provide too many technical details that only a developer would understand. They have processes that don't always fit the situation, so it takes longer. We created an ITSM Module, and as MS Dynamics implementation specialists, we practice what we preach.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Simple to Use — Dynamics and their jargon can be befuddling. The new Unified Interface is poorly designed. Older user interfaces were easier to navigate. Customizing CRM can be difficult and even dangerous if you are not a CRM expert. Incorrect reporting you have to have Power BI. It is difficult to manage users and permissions due to the numerous customizations available. Performance is always an issue.Microsoft Dynamics Sales Enterprise could benefit from improved user interface. For example, data entry is typically a time-consuming task for inexperienced users. Its user interface design is not simple enough to allow for smooth navigation
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
It is advantageous for businesses that do not require complex personalizations, as it alleviates the burden of excessive code and complexity. Large businesses should be aware that MS Dynamics cannot manage massive data sets, that reports are limited, and that overall performance is limited. MS provides excellent customer service. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales Enterprise does an excellent job of integrating with key third-party applications we currently use in the office, such as MailChimp and OneNote, making it easier to share critical insights across applications experiences made possible by shared application data and marketing automations
Pros
- Helps Innovate
- Continually Improving Product
- Reliable
