OpenText eDiscovery offer similar features from other products, however it is integrate with OpenText GCDoc.

Integartion with OpenText Enterprose GCDoc

Little complex to use it.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Perform Proof of Solution (PoC) to ensure that it fits and integration possible in your environment. It is good product, however, it may or may not be right environment for you.
