Robust in-app analytics easy to use.

What differentiates Pendo from other similar products?
The biggest advantage of Pendo for us is the ability to deploy in-app messaging and capture user input in context. It has decreased the time and effort necessary to test new experiences and functions effectively in our app as a flexible yet consistent message system. Furthermore, Pendo makes it very simple to measure and report on interactions. We can show our consumers new features and explain how to utilize them. We can also consolidate many of the help desk materials and support sites into a single, consistent place without requiring engineering assistance.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Pendo has provided us with a collection of tools that make in-app messaging very simple to set up and use, such as onboarding tutorials, NPS surveys, and other feedback gathering tools. We have numerous options for where and how to show certain messages, and we have a lot of control over who sees which messages and when they are presented. I enjoy the resource center as a centralized location for our clients' help center resources, as well as the announcement features for sending targeted messages to groups of individuals.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Pendo, like many third-party tools, can occasionally interact weirdly with our app. Conflicts between Pendo instructions and other forms of layered UI, such as modals and overlays, can be difficult to prevent. We've also been frustrated by Pendo limits in allowing dynamic UI changes like toggling between bright and dark modes.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Using Pendo across several corporate sites is the most difficult component of our system. If this is known from the outset, specialized training is required to establish the Pendo shard.
Pros
- Continually Improving Product
- Reliable
- Performance Enhancing
- Enables Productivity

Tool to improve the end user experience.

What differentiates Pendo from other similar products?
Using this tool, our organization may collect product feature requests as well as any enhancement requests. Because of the tool's ease of use, our clients are prepared to give ideas/feedback through it rather than rely on corporate workers. Pendo makes it simple to offer new features and lead users through a process, and segmented statistics aid in gaining a thorough picture of how the app is used and how it can be enhanced. By providing us with information on how customers use the product, a venue for product education, and the ability to engage with end users.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The tool is simple to use, allowing any user to adopt it on the fly. I like how simple it is to categorize site features and pages and gain information into how consumers use our goods. Pendo has also enabled us to create a whole ecosystem of product education. The Visual Designer overlay is extremely user-friendly and allows anybody to create compelling user content and position it precisely where they want it to appear. The choices for tailoring the information to your specific requirements are carefully thought out.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Some issues have been noticed that are more on the application side and need to be addressed, such as supplying better ids and URLs instead of Pendo. We've been a Pendo customer for many years and have seen some advancements, however we have to rely on our engineers to produce trace events for all mobile analytics because tagging isn't an option. We also have a Windows app, and because there is no SDK, we cannot have advertisements or analytics, which is awful.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
This is one of the best in its segment, it has been of great help to the company, it makes work more efficient and it also allows us to improve every day. This is why I feel confident in recommending the implementation of this software.

What differentiates Pendo from other similar products?
Pendo provides vital product usage statistics to our customer care teams while also allowing us to consolidate onboarding procedures, feedback mechanisms, and client education into a single application. Pendo is essential for keeping me up to date on my consumer base. At other firms, I've used Pendo to send out large messages to certain client groups and even encourage admins to sign up for forthcoming webinars.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The ability to deploy customer-facing onboarding, tooltips, and education is the best feature of Pendo. In addition, the client use data you receive is quite strong and can be utilized for anything from an account review to developing your own bespoke customer health score from scratch. It's also useful for determining which features aren't being tested. A must in order to keep clients from becoming upset.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The only disadvantage of having access to this sort of information is when clients request it to check if their representatives are utilizing it as much as they expected. That said, as long as you collect and use data from the start, there will be no surprises, and you can strive to ensure it is never a bad thing.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I always say that the first thing you should do is think about the possible use cases and learn how to use the software in the right way to realize its true potential. Make sure you have enough personnel involved in the implementation of the software that will help to adopt the use of the software quickly.
