What differentiates SAP SuccessFactors HCM from other similar products?
I consider that key factors that differentiate Successfactors from other solutions are: -A very good Talent and Performance solution.Very advanced functionally and technologically -A great user experience. Applications are easy to use and very intuitive. -A very complete solution that covers all HCM processes. End to End processes.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The goal & performance management process. It´s very flexible and visual. Easy to configure and use.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The internal integrations. SuccessFactors is composed of different solutions that sap has acquired over time. Even the user experience is good, the integration between the HCM solutions is not very complete. The BBDD duplicates part of the Employee Data and security.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Analyze well the business needs. Compare well the requirements with the SuccessFactores process and features. It´s recommended a detailed assessment. The SuccessFactors processes are quite standard and sometimes are difficult to adapt to the client process. Involve an expert in the initial phase to have a good understanding of the solution to support the decision.

What differentiates SAP SuccessFactors HCM from other similar products?
What probably differentiates SuccessFactors from similar products is the user interface and how well it can be customized to the user's needs. It also offers a much broader file integration system to accept multiple formats for files and data versus competition that generally limits the users to limited Excel file types.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favorite aspect has to be the ease of access in the user interface. The software is made to make it clear for any new or experienced user to find what they're looking for quickly and easily.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The only thing I dislike about the product was the fact that it required alot of regular maintenance as the software gets updates pretty regularly. But even with that, the web-based software was rarely unavailable for use.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I would recommend this product, but make sure you know what data parameters you're going to want to research data by ahead of time. They can customize the user interface but it saves a lot of time for the company and the users when stuff is pre-built into templates for use by SuccessFactors.
