What differentiates Tempo Portfolio Manager from other similar products?
LiquidPlanner has a very intuitive scheduling algorithm that allows you to predict when and how much time a task will take until you are wrapped up. It provides both a high level overviews of your company, as well as the ability to zoom in and see the finer details of tasks. The ability to share LP across your workspace and ensure that all details of your projects are documented and completed.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The user friendly interface, as well as the great project management features.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The fact that the new version of LiquidPlanner does not have the ability to generate reports easily, or to do budget/cost/expense analysis easily. You need to have an API with another platform to easily do this. LiquidPlanner does not support analysis by itself (at least not easily, you could export a bunch of spreadsheets and do it that way, but that is annoying and time consuimg).
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I recommend to have a very well defined set of projects and tasks that your company is working on. Without defining your process and what exactly you need to accomplish your projects, your LiquidPlanner workspace will be a mess. I also recommend having a financial management platform that you can integrate with LiquidPlanner if you wish to generate financial reports, budget analysis etc.
