Easy to Administer but not Flexible

What differentiates Workday Human Capital Management from other similar products?
Breadth of modules and features, unique data object management
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It is easy to configure by a non-technical person. It can meet most business process requirements through configuration and without customization.
What do you dislike most about this product?
It presumes that users understand what they are doing with HR processes, while most managers and employees do not. Hence all the safeguards need to be custom-configured.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Start module by module. Doing entire suite is overwhelming and will take longer than planned.
Pros
- Continually Improving Product
- Respectful
- Fair
- Helps Innovate

Very easy to use and useful for larger companies

What differentiates Workday Human Capital Management from other similar products?
With the breadth and depth of the product, organizations have a one stop shop for all of their HR needs. You don't need to manage all the different HR processes across 4 different products, instead its only one and your employees thank you for ease of access.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I personally enjoy how intuitive and conducive it is to learning. As my job entails a lot of back end work in the system, it is easier when it is intuitive and readily available versus difficult to figure out.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The lack of customization available for free. We don't have unlimited custom fields and have to be selective for those, even if there are other needs.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you are at a smaller organization, it may not make the most sense to use Workday. Anything above 1000 employees, it truly is worth the investment in my opinion.
