What is Zapier?
Zapier is the glue that connects thousands of web apps. Zaps are workflows that connect your apps, so they can work together. Zaps start with a trigger—an event in one of your apps that kicks off your workflow. Zaps automate tasks in the background, so you can focus on more important work.

One of the best integration software for companies

What differentiates Zapier from other similar products?
Several of our designers receive requests for a Wufoo request form. Requests must then be delivered to employees on the clock through Slack and wind up in our project management systems to be triaged, assigned, and worked on, among other things. A manager must also be able to see the desk's capacity and anticipate what is coming. Zapier links everything for us. For Zapier usage, I used the phrase "no code required," but you may also run code using Run JavaScript or Run Python. Of course, you may also handle these processes directly by selecting applications under your preferred app.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Zapier is like having a slew of really clever individuals instantly appear on your team. If you have an idea for an integration, it is likely to exist here. You don't need a computer science degree or to be a NASA scientist to walk through the setup process. Zapier may be used with both paid and free membership types, and it supports services such as email, project management, and documentation tools, which are commonly used in business. In a nutshell, Zapier is a simple online service that allows you to automate transactions across the many web services you use on a daily basis.
What do you dislike most about this product?
It may get pricey if you put up a lot of "zaps" and have a lot of people utilizing them. I'd suggest taking a look at your workflows and maybe simplifying them.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Before you buy, look for available integrations and test them out. Integrations are referred to as Zaps by Zapier, and you may construct your own Zaps using an editor. You must configure the activation format after picking the app from the built-in Apps and Popular Apps selections. Don't be intimidated by the sophisticated choices; they're simpler than you think.

What differentiates Zapier from other similar products?
We struggled to collect all of our data across many platforms, but Zapier handled the majority of our issues. The ability to create and trigger events in numerous software packages was one of the most valuable things that came to me, allowing me to streamline operations throughout my career. Because it is a normal user-created software, it allows you to modify your operations. The amount of programs that may be incorporated is astounding, which I have not seen with any other application owing to special compatibility issues that typically limit complete integration with all other programs.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It's incredible to be able to integrate multiple apps without having to write. I wish every applications utilized that platform to connect to one another. Zapier may save your firm time, especially if you lack in-house capabilities to code what you require. Zapier is the first tool that has taught me all I know about integrations. It started with data attachments to a Google spreadsheet, and now I write my initial logistical requests using the Zap webhook. Zapier also added to the information I already had regarding the refining processes in our company.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The biggest issue, in my opinion, is that it offers so many chances that it's frequently difficult to know what to say; in addition to using it, you need to utilize a lot of imagination, so technology without innovation doesn't assist much. The task scheduler might be annoying at times since it does not always operate properly. The process is limited to three possibilities at most, so you can't go deeper into it. You will also fail if your criteria are not 100% accurate.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you are not a coder and want your software to communicate with one another, this is the software you require. Don't sugarcoat the zaps or the software; the program is incredibly adaptable and can execute a number of activities and zaps to match the demands of any organization. Overthinking might lead the system to overprocess, resulting in a slew of errors that you won't be able to correct without professional assistance.

What differentiates Zapier from other similar products?
It is used to transfer records from Salesforce to Asana and vice versa. The advantages are as follows: users on both systems require fewer licenses. Salesforce users remain in Salesforce, while Asana users remain on Asana; both receive instant changes. It saves project managers a lot of time searching for information and going back and forth. They may concentrate on finishing the assignment rather than acquiring information. With our own zapier and Facebook sync-based solution, we can automate email marketing, sync with invoice issuing, and exceed Facebook AI.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It integrates with a plethora of apps via its API, requires no technical knowledge, and is simple to train and delegate to team members. I can quickly edit the fields in Salesforce, and Asana will instantly update. The same is true for Salesforce and Asana. I also enjoy the flexibility to remove separate parts within the same Asana project, the ability to search for and change data, the ability to filter records, and the ability to defer some zaps.
What do you dislike most about this product?
There are certain components that I dislike since they take a long time throughout the test: the logs do not pick up the most recent updates, despite the fact that it claims to. This is especially true if we have a large number of zaps on the same account. If your data between Asana and Salesforce does not match, Zap will indicate that one of the stages is broken and needs to be rectified. This is ineffective because the zap is still operational. That is, luckily, a good thing. Furthermore, because its pricing is based on the amount of activities, it is not the cheapest solution for the scalability of huge operations.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
You must first consider procedures, but it must be highly nimble. Cheap-scale operations are also required; you cannot automate operations with millions of activities at a low cost. Zapier may be used to instantly update or produce new records from one platform to another. We've used it to connect Asana and Salesforce, as well as Airtable and Salesforce. It is simple to set up and use. There are various issues with the user experience or restrictions of the product, such as picklist fields and their values being difficult to alter. Searching for test logs or searching for projects may be enhanced. Others that need to link it with their CRM.
