TalentLMS Releases Version 4.0 Focusing on Simplicity and User Experience

TalentLMS 4.0 features several new features along with an improved user interface. The main features and updates include:

Live chat – Premium plan customers can now live chat with support to get on-the-spot help. Live chat is embedded into the Mega Help Menu.

BambooHR integration – The integration enables batch upload of all employees from BambooHR into TalentLMS. It also allows BambooHR administrators to view and track completed training courses by employees within BambooHR.

UI/UX improvements – Clearer icons, tidier login screen, and menu improvements across the platform are a few of the key improvements in giving TalentLMS a more modern and friendly UI. These improvements are in-line with its goal to be the simplest LMS on the market.

Course and user management – Several new features have been added to help users and administrators. Users can now see preview videos along with course descriptions as a teaser to training courses. Within courses, users can now choose their playback speed, similar to YouTube or Vimeo, so that they can watch at their preferred speed setting. For administrators, it is now possible to reset an individual unit within a course if a user needs to retake a single unit. Administrators can now prevent registration from certain domains, e.g. Hotmail.com, as opposed to being only able to allow specific domains.

Mobile app improvements – There have been several improvements to the mobile app in this release. Discussions is now accessible on the mobile app, allowing users to share feedback and exchange ideas while using their mobile device. Android users can now access the native Vimeo player and all users are able to view private Vimeo videos. Finally, users can get feedback on certain question types within the mobile app. If in assessments the questions are randomized or shuffled, it will work within the mobile app.
