The Net Emotional Footprint measures high-level user sentiment towards particular product offerings. It aggregates emotional response ratings for various dimensions of the vendor-client relationship and product effectiveness, creating a powerful indicator of overall user feeling toward the vendor and product.

Market leader in agile task management

What differentiates Jira from other similar products?
I am absolutely convinced that the main advantage in using Jira is its belonging to Atlassian infrastructure. All my experience with it was really nice, several teams (marketing, SEO, developers and designers) collaborated with each other with slightly different preferences, but great synergic impact, and Confluence + Trello helped a lot in addition to Jira
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Jira is really customizable due to needs of different teams who works with sprints or without them. Differentiation of access rights, customizable task options, support for flexible methodologies – Jira seems to be really a standart for agile. Decentralized teams should gain additional benefits: is saves language barriers blocking time and frequent emailing.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Jira may be complicated for new users, if compared to some more simply solutions at the same market. Also, the user interface can be inconsistent (especially with the different definition pages). Mobile application has enough bugs (and not really mobile friendly)
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Use educational courses, like "Jira and Confluence 101" to solve all the questions you'll face in the very beginning of your work with Jira If we speak about implementing Jira, scrum master is a good choice of driving all the processes
Pros
- Helps Innovate
- Continually Improving Product
- Reliable
- Performance Enhancing

Great tool highly customizable to your needs

What differentiates Jira from other similar products?
In general, Jira adapts to different needs. Although it's highly effective in software industries, I've seen that it can help companies from different markets regarding their projects. It provides a great task management and tracking. This allow you to also identify the pain points of your projects with ease. Reporting is also quite good for any company to see the evolution of the different in progress projects and adapt the way these evolve during time by adjusting the workflows based on users/projects/company requirements.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
How customizable it is. Due to the large marketplace it has, missing features can be easily be incorporated through plugins/apps, enhancing the capabilities of the application.
What do you dislike most about this product?
There are some features that can be improved. Permission Schemes, for example, could be improved by giving a better handling over the permissions (bulk change is a missing feature that could be quite useful) IN general, there aren't many things I dislike about Jira and the tool is always evolving. Unfortunately, some issues/bugs/features, take quite some time to be fixed or implemented.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Try Jira Cloud first as you can get a free trial version and even a free cloud instance for up to 10 users. If you like it, you can either consider stay on Cloud version or move to DC.
Pros
- Continually Improving Product
- Reliable
- Enables Productivity
- Trustworthy
