What differentiates Paylocity from other similar products?
I was not part of the product selection committee so I cannot speak to the differentiating characteristics.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
There was a lot of potential to have good UI on the homepage - unfortunately either the product wasn't highly customizable or our business owner didn't have either the time or the training or the support to make that homepage clear and functional.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The UI is confusing and overly complex. It felt "out of the box" with a strong emphasis on timesheet type management: which was not a good fit for our needs.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
ensure your internal owner will be able to make the necessary customizations (maybe with help from IT) to get the product working as needed for your team. Collect user stories and get your account manager to agree to customize to those top user stories.
