What differentiates Rippling from other similar products?
The customer support team at Rippling is very polite, they have helped us make a transition to scale our company's growth with ease. The customer support team has been very knowledgeable and helpful in making Rippling a good fit for our company in the Solar Install industry.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
A lot of my job deals with onboarding contractors and helping them get set up with the right agreement documents, and direct deposit information. Rippling has essentially taken a huge load of day-to day minutia off of my back. It allows me to input agreements and documents that need to be sent out frequently, and provides easy-to-use options for me to send out these documents whenever I am onboarding a contractor. It has taken what could be 1-2 hours of onboarding work, and streamlined the efficiency of my onboarding process down to 10 minutes or less. This isn't a joke either. It is impressive.
What do you dislike most about this product?
When new contractors are onboarded within the last week or so, the rippling system won't recognize them as contractors if they are needing to be paid the same week. This means that contractors onboarded on 10/12/23 would not be recognized in the system, when searching for them to be paid on a big contractor pay run for 10/13/23, without going to the entity's profile and changing the date that they were actually onboarded-to the previous week. It is an inconvenience, however it does not deter from the usability and ease of the system.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Rippling seems to be an HR system that is experienced. Their service team is extremely proactive in reaching out with upcoming changes, alerts, and need information regarding the system itself. They have been great to work with during tax season this year(2023). My company outgrew our previous HR system and Rippling has helped to make it incredibly easy to transfer data, profile, and tax information. If you are looking for a system that will make the contractor onboarding process seamless, functional, and user friendly for both company and employee, Rippling has been great for us as a midsize solar install firm.
