Rocky start, now standard for chat and conference.
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Microsoft Teams from other similar products?
Integration with other Microsoft tools.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Multi-platform support - e.g. ability to use mobile app for audio while still doing screenshare from PC (although it took a long time for this to become a stable feature, and it still is not without occasional hiccups).
What do you dislike most about this product?
Performance and stability. It's gotten much better than its early days, but it took a long time and many false starts to get there, and it still goes wonky sometimes when a significant update rolls out.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Don't expect it to be the all-inclusive solution it's billed as. It excels at its core function of chat and conference, but integrations with Office and SharePoint, etc - while they *can* help reduce barriers in your workflows - really aren't as well implemented as they should be.
Pros
- Performance Enhancing
- Enables Productivity
- Respectful
- Reliable
Cons
- Less Efficient Service
- Inhibits Innovation
- Slower Product Innovation
